The aim of the project is to create a garden in the school yard and grow various plants in this garden. Students are supposed to use the target language in the process of the project. They will label the tools and materials which they use in English. For example, if they need a fence around the garden, they will label the fence and the materials they need to build the fence and talk about the making of it during and afterwards. The ultimate aim of the project is encouraging the students not to be only consumers but also to be producers.
