ROLLING STONE Traveler in the environment through Geomythology viewing sustainability

Myth is born from human imagination or is the man’s attempt to interpret the changes in the natural environment that determines his survival ? Geomythology is the scientific field which interprets mythology in relation to natural environment and climate during the mythological period. During the long pre-historical times geo environmental changes were numerous and dramatical Mediterranean Sea and Balkans are characterized by intense geo morphological processes due to climatic changes. This project follows the adventures of a meteorite, a ROLLING STONE, which falls from space in Latvia in October 2016 and rolls all over Europe, searching for GEO-myths and climate changes and finally in May 2019 falls in the Atlantic Ocean in Portugal. Over the 3 years it will experience our culture and languages, and will be able to return to Space or may wish to stay in Europe if it finds a warm and inviting place! The ROLLING STONE is a vehicle to motivate and inspire pupils in language
