Description

Intensive 10 day dynamic and fun English language course to improve communication skills and network with other teachers and school staff within Erasmus+ programme. The course uses innovative teaching techniques to improve vocabulary, grammar, listening and speaking skills.

Participants receive materials developed by our teacher trainers specially for English language learners who are teachers in Erasmus+ programme.

This course is designed to help teachers and other school staff get rid of their fear of English, improve their knowledge of the language and be ready to engage in all international activities of their school.

We will guide you through a series of game-based activities to introduce grammar structures and important vocabulary. The course aims to make learning a fun and dynamic process that combines music, filmography, videos, digital tools, quizzes, and creative, fun outdoor activities that have proven to facilitate learning of contents and skills.

The course motivates participants to discuss interesting topics, and make new friends, improving their speaking and listening skills along the way. This will give them a chance to create opportunities for international cooperation and setting up new Erasmus+ projects.

One of the best ways to learn English language is to interact with native speakers. This is why participants will have lessons with trainers who are native speakers of English.

This intensive 10 day English language course presents a perfect place for participants to improve all skills necessary to communicate in English, and become more confident in speaking and writing.

The participants will improve their English language skills in an effective language learning environment, expand Erasmus+ network, learn about the beauty and culture of Croatia with other teachers and school staff.

Learning objectives

The course will help the participants to:

Improve their English vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation, and conversational skills;
Interact with native speakers of English;
Participate in interactive, fun, dynamic lessons;
Use digital tools, games and activities throughout the learning process;
Immerse themselves in local history and culture;
Meet teachers from other countries in Europe and around the world;
Acquire first-hand experience as a student to refresh their perspective as a teacher.

Methodology & assessment

Methodology: the course is designed to ensure quality, relevance, and alignment with Erasmus+ standards.

Pedagogical approaches: innovative, participatory methods such as problem-based learning, collaborative learning, and/or the use of digital tools and platforms for virtual learning environments.

The course involves group work, discussions, workshops, project-based activities, and other interactive methods that encourage active learning and participation.

Assessment Methods: evaluating learners' progress towards achieving the learning outcomes.

Certification details

To obtain the Certificate of Attendance at the end of the course, participants must attend at least 80 % of the classes.
