Learning objectives
Participants will
- explore competence-based education;
- be aware of the issues and challenges related to making competence-based education a reality in the classroom;
- be introduced to concrete tips on how to implement project-based learning, a particularly suitable method for delivering competence-based education;
- assess this type of collaborative learning;
- incorporate ICT tools in the classroom;
- increase students’ motivation and engagement;
- stimulate students' critical thinking, problem-solving skills and encourage team work
- exchange ideas and share experiences of good practice;
- engage students of mixed abilities
Methodology & assessment
The training course has a holistic approach for practical:
- Experience in different educational settings, digital education methods and creative tools;
- Art and Museums as an educational tool;
- Learning about resources for classroom applications;
- Virtual connection among students and teachers through the use of video or Web-based conferencing services.
- Reflection on the power and limits of technology and its impact, on building pedagogical processes etc.;
- Transfer in own realities and share of best practices to engage students in creative learning.
Evaluation:
• Continuous assessment and continuous observation of participant’s activity;
• Engagement level in the activity, discussion, problem-solving, and group/partner teamwork

Course package content:
- The course fee per person includes course materials, meeting room(s), small snacks, coffee and tea.

Cancellation & changes:
A course might be cancelled / postponed when too little registrations have been received. No later than 35 days before the start of the specific course, registrant will be noticed of this. The pre-payment of the course fee(s) will be automatically and fully refunded, unless registrant formally enrols for another course(s)/ change to another date(s).
Until 35 days before the start of the selected course, cancellation will be free of charge and the pre-payment/payment will be fully refunded to registrant. Between 35 and 15 days before the start of the course, fifty percent of the payment will be refunded. Within the 15 days before the course no refunds will be made.
