Description

Who is it for?

  • Participants: 20–25 educators, including teachers from kindergartens, primary, and secondary schools, as well as adult trainers in Erasmus+ program countries.
  • Profile: Educators motivated to use digital tools and foster a creative, inclusive, and intercultural learning environment. Participants can be experienced or new to digital tools but must be eager to engage in preparatory and follow-up activities while embracing diversity and collaboration.

Objectives:

  1. Equip participants to integrate ICT tools into teaching, learning, and assessment to create inclusive, engaging classrooms.
  2. Develop skills in digital storytelling, e-portfolios, and educational games to support diverse learners.
  3. Enhance collaboration, critical thinking, and creativity using innovative ICT methodologies.
  4. Address issues like cyberbullying, promoting safe and inclusive digital spaces.
  5. Foster intercultural understanding and cooperation within the Erasmus+ framework.

Learning objectives

By the end of the course, participants will:

  • Gain proficiency in applying digital tools like Plickers, Google Forms escape rooms, Wordwall, Quizlet, and more.
  • Understand how to foster identity, belonging, and inclusion in the classroom through digital strategies.
  • Acquire methods to boost student motivation and reduce early school leaving using personalized ICT solutions.
  • Learn to identify and address cyberbullying, ensuring safe digital interactions.
  • Improve interpersonal relationships and communication using digital apps and storytelling.
  • Design creative and practical blogs, websites, and multimedia projects to engage learners.
  • Share and implement best practices for digital inclusion based on European projects and platforms.

Methodology & assessment

The main methods will be through practical training, exercises, role-playing, cooperative work, various activities and discussions. The content is based on „ learning by doing” combined with ” reflection upon action”. The training course has a holistic approach:
• Experiencing: different educational settings, different non formal education methods (role play, simulation game, exercises etc.)
• Reflecting: on the methods and its impacts, on the power and limits of non-formal education, on building a pedagogical process etc.
• Transferring: to the own reality of participants, in order to improve ways of working with their students
• Sharing: different perceptions, current situations and experiences.
• Developing: the building capacity of the participants (to be transferred to their students) by including them in the decision process of the training course designing
• Lessons learnt and best practices on non-formal education in school activities
