Two teams "Minion" and "Tangenz Allfaa" (Pia von der Fecht, Jona Dörzbach, Ben Ebert, Nsang Poumbga) from the ASG took part in the 2022 solar mobile construction competition.
As part of the Erasmus project "Thinking globally, acting locally", class 10e dealt with the topic of solar energy in Mrs Mayer's chemistry lessons. Some of the students put their knowledge into practice and built their own solar car to take part in the competition.
133 young people from all over Baden-Württemberg set off on a Saturday to the Experimenta in Heilbronn to bring their self-built vehicle to the starting line. After a first run, the constructors had the opportunity to adapt their vehicle to the course in the workshop and repair it if necessary. The Minion team's solar car then reached the finish line with solar energy.
The teams were supervised by Ms von der Fecht and Ms Mayer.
