Playing sports and leading a healthy lifestyle is extremely
beneficial for everyone in many ways.
Physical activity has a positive effect on our health.
Regular physical activity helps maintain a healthy body weight,
strengthens muscles and bones, and improves the condition of
the heart and respiratory system. Playing sports also helps
maintain healthy skin and overall well-being. Sport also affects
our mental well-being. Physical activity has a positive effect on
mental and emotional health. Regular exercise helps reduce
stress, improves mood and increases the level of endorphins -
hormones of happiness. This can help to reduce the risk of
depression, anxiety and other mental health problems.
By doing sports, we develop our skills and physical abilities.
Pursuing sports goals, overcoming difficulties and achieving
success builds self-confidence and self-esteem. Playing sports
is a great opportunity to make new friends and build lasting
relationships. Training, joint competitions and sports meetings
allow you to interact with your peers, develop teamwork skills
and build bonds. Sport teaches us healthy competition and
emotional management skills. We learn to respect opponents,
the principles of fair play and how to deal with failures.
These skills are extremely important not only on the pitch,
but also in everyday life. Playing sports at a young age can
contribute to maintaining a healthy lifestyle in adulthood.
The habit of regular physical activity has a beneficial effect on
the whole body, reducing the risk of many diseases, such as
obesity, heart disease, diabetes and osteoporosis.
To encourage especially young people to practice sports and
introduce healthy habits into their lives, our students have
prepared a short video.
