Our goals:

  • introduce pupils to coding concepts
  • enhance creativity
  • develop problem-solving skills
  • recognize and understand patterns
  • build confidence
  • spark interest in STEM activities
  • promote EU CodeWeek activities

 

Learning objectives:

  • Sudents will understand the fundamental concepts of coding and programming logic, such as sequencing, loops, through unplugged activities.
  • Students will learn to break down complex problems into smaller steps (decomposition) and recognize patterns (pattern recognition).
  • Students will combine art with technology by designing creative, interactive, and visually engaging projects
  • Students will work in teams to complete collaborative coding and art projects
  • Students will develop teamwork skills
  • Students will learn to approach challenges with a problem-solving mindset
  • Students will enhance their fine motor skills by drawing
  • Students will gain a basic understanding of how computers and technology work, even without the use of digital devices
  • Students will build confidence by completing individual and group projects, presenting their work to peers
  • Students will develop key social and emotional skills such as patience, resilience, and persistence
  • Students will integrate knowledge from subjects like art, design, mathematics, and technology
