We organized a trip to Bergama Solid Waste Integrated Treatment Facility with the students in the project. We observed how the the electricity is produced from organic waste in this facility.

Gülnur YULUK-Fatih Secondary School-Balıkesir/TÜRKİYE 

Together with Buğra, Irmak, Rüveyda, Çınar, Esila and Ayça, we went to biogas, solar energy and wind turbines, which are renewable energy facilities in our city this month. Our students, who asked the questions they had prepared to the authorities, received detailed information about this subject. They said that they had exciting moments.

 Özcan ÇİÇEK - Mualla Ersezgin Secondary School  

 

Team Mualla, with students Pinar, Sudem and Ayberk, a trip to Renewable Energy Sources and Power Stations in local area. 

 

In Saricalar Solar Panels Station we got important information about solar power. Then we visited Bergama Solid Waste Integrated Treatment Facility; here we observed how the the electricity is produced from organic waste in this facility. And the following day, Wind Power Tribunes visited, useful information gained about those huge structures.

We made an online meeting and watched a virtual trip. Also, our physics teacher informed us about wind energy turbines, solar energy panels and hydroelectric dam.

Not only did we discover interesting things, but we also had fun together.

As Işıklar Şeker Secondary School team, we were informed about geothermal energy and agriculture in Afyonkarahisar, we made a virtual tour with the engineer working there, and at the end of the online meeting, we gave a certificate of gratitude to the engineer.

We interviwed Filipe Ribeiro, engineer, responsible for some wind mils and solar park pannels.We woks for - Exus Management Partners -  experts in finely-tuned renewable energy invstments.
