eSicherheitspolitik in internationalen Schulprojekten

(wie z.B.: Erasmus+ oder eTwinning)

Interkulturelle Kompetenz sollte nicht nur in der realen Welt, sondern auch in der virtuellen Dimension betrachtet werden, was wiederum die Erstellung spezifischer Richtlinien für Teilnehmer internationaler Projekte zum Onlineverhalten gemäß dem entwickelten Katalog interkultureller Kompetenz erforderlich macht.

Eine eSicherheitspolitik ist aus drei Gründen erforderlich:

1. Internationale Schulprojekte basieren auf Informations- und Kommunikationstechnologien und digitalen Medien,

2. Zwischen den Schulen gibt es Unterschiede in den eSicherheit-Richtlinien.

3. Teilnehmer an internationalen Schulprojekten benötigen konkrete Leitlinien und Hinweisen für ein sicheres und verantwortungsvolles „Online-Agieren“ im internationalen Raum.

Die eSicherheitspolitik zielt darauf ab:

- klare Richtlinien zum angemessenen und unangemessenen Einsatz digitaler Technologien und Geräte bei der Umsetzung internationaler Schulprojekte festzulegen,

- Teilnehmern internationaler Schulprojekte zu zeigen, wie sie sich in der internationalen Online-Welt sicher und verantwortungsbewusst verhalten,

- die Schüler zum bewussten und richtigen Umgang mit digitalen Technologien und mobilen Geräten zu ermutigen,

- die Möglichkeit negativer Folgen von Verstößen in dieser Hinsicht, d. h.: Verstöße gegen personenbezogene Daten, das Bild, das Urheberrecht und die Sicherheit einzelner Teilnehmer an internationalen Schulprojekten sowie der Verlust oder die Beeinträchtigung des Rufs der Schule zu verringern.

Die eSicherheitspolitik umfasst die folgenden Bereiche:

1. Bildschutz

2. Schutz personenbezogener Daten

3. Urheberrecht

4. Sicherheit des Schülers im Netz

5. Schüler in sozialen Netzwerken und das Image der Schule

6. Mobile Geräte in Bildungsaktivitäten

7. Netiquette

Bildschutz

1. Das Fotografieren und Aufzeichnen von Schülern, Lehrkräften und anderen Schulmitarbeitern im Rahmen von Projektaktivitäten, sowohl im Schulteam als auch im Rahmen internationaler Treffen an der eigenen Schule und in Partnerschulen sowie die Veröffentlichung von Fotos und Videos im Internet, bedarf der ausdrücklichen Zustimmung; im Falle eines Schülers – die schriftliche Einwilligung der Eltern/Erziehungsberechtigten und/oder des Schülers (je nach Alter und nationalen Vorschriften), im Falle von Lehrkräften und anderen Schulmitarbeitern – die Einwilligung der betroffenen Person.

2. Wenn die von den Eltern/Erziehungsberechtigten für die Lerndauer an einer bestimmten Schule unterzeichneten Einwilligung zur Verbreitung des Bildes keine internationalen Bildungsaktivitäten abdeckt und die Schule zusätzliche Einwilligungenfür internationale Projekte wie eTwinning, Erasmus+ benötigt, sollten diese Einwilligungen gesammelt und (zusammen mit dengrundsätzlichen Zustimmungenzur Teilnahme an einem bestimmten Projekt) in der Projektdokumentation gemäß den Richtlinien des jeweiligen Programms gespeichert werden.

2a. Die Schule, die an einem internationalen Projekt teilnimmt, sollte vor Beginn der Rekrutierung für dieses Projekt einen entsprechenden Anhang zur Einwilligung zur Teilnahme an dem Projekt bezüglich der Verbreitung des Bildes ausarbeiten. Sie kanndazu die im Anhang bereitgestellte Mustervorlage verwenden.

3. Fotos und Videos, die während der Projektaktivitäten aufgenommen wurden, sollten nur für Zwecke des Projekts (z. B. Information, Werbung, Verbreitung von Projektresultaten) oder im Rahmen der Schulwerbung (z.B. Dokumentation der Schularbeit, Bildungsangebot) veröffentlicht werden.

4. Fotos und Videos, die während der Projektaktivitäten aufgenommen wurden, sollten nur auf offiziellen Webseiten veröffentlicht werden, wie zum Beispiel: Projektwebseiten (z.B. bei den eTwinning Projekten - in öffentlichen Twin Space Seiten) oder Schulwebsite.

4a. Die Veröffentlichung von Fotos und Videos auf dem Facebook- oder Instagram-Profil der Schule ist möglich, sofern dies in der jeweiligen Schule erlaubt ist. Bei der Veröffentlichung einzelner Materialien ist es jedoch erforderlich, die an den Partnerschulen geltenden Regelungen zu Personen auf einem bestimmten Foto oder Film zu berücksichtigen und gegebenenfalls eine entsprechende Einwilligung für eine solche Veröffentlichung einzuholen.

4b. Während der Projektaktivitäten aufgenommene Fotos und Videos können in privaten sozialen Foren veröffentlicht werden. Aber wenn sich dort jedoch neben dem Autor der Veröffentlichung noch andere Personen befinden, muss eine Sondergenehmigung von allen eingeholt werden. Man sollte sich so verhalten, dass sich niemand beleidigt, verletzt, bloßgestellt oder kompromittiert fühlt

5. Im Falle der Weitergabe von Fotos oder Videoinhalten in sozialen Medien ohne Zustimmung der Beteiligten und der Meldung der Situation durch die verletzte(n) Person(en) gelten diesbezügliche nationale und regionale Vorschriften. Es kann auch dazu führen, dass die Schule vom Täter gewechselt werden muss.

6. Während der Vorbereitungstreffen für ein bestimmtes Projekt sollten Schüler und Eltern von den Lehrkräften, die im Erasmus+ Schulteam mitarbeiten, über die Regeln für die Veröffentlichung von den auf Projektaktivitäten basierenden Fotos und Videos und über die Folgen eines Verstoßes gegen diese Vorschriften informiert werden.

Schutz personenbezogener Daten

1. Die Verarbeitung personenbezogener Daten der Schüler, Lehrkräfte und anderer Schulmitarbeiter im Rahmen von Projektaktivitäten, sowohl im Schulteam als auch bei internationalen Treffen an der eigenen Schule und in Partnerschulen, sowie die Veröffentlichung der Namen und anderer personenbezogener Daten der Projektbeteiligte im Internet bedürfen der ausdrücklichen Einwilligung; im Falle eines Schülers – die schriftliche Einwilligung der Eltern/Erziehungsberechtigten und/oder des Schülers (je nach Alter und nationalen Vorschriften), im Falle der Lehrkräfte und anderer Schulmitarbeiter– die Einwilligung der betroffenen Person.

2. Wenn die von den Eltern/Erziehungsberechtigten für die Lerndauer an einer bestimmten Schule unterzeichnete Einwilligung zur Verarbeitung personenbezogener Daten nicht für internationale Bildungsaktivitäten gilt und die Schule zusätzliche Einwilligungen für internationale Projekte wie eTwinning, Erasmus+ benötigt. Sollten diese Einwilligungen gesammelt und (zusammen mit den grundsätzlichen Zustimmungen zur Teilnahme an einem bestimmten Projekt) in der Projektdokumentation gemäß den Richtlinien des jeweiligen Programms gespeichert werden.

2a. Die Schule, die an einem internationalen Projekt teilnimmt, sollte einen entsprechenden Anhang zur Einwilligung zur Teilnahme an dem Projekt bezüglich der Verarbeitung personenbezogener Daten erstellen, bevor sie mit der Rekrutierung für dieses Projekt beginnt. Sie kann dazudie im Anhang bereitgestellte Mustervorlageverwenden.

3. Personenbezogene Daten von Projektteilnehmern sollten nur für Zwecke des Projekts (z.B. Information, Werbung, Verbreitung von Ergebnissen) oder im Rahmen der Schulförderung (z.B. Schularbeitsdokumentation, Bildungsangebot) veröffentlicht werden. Es wird empfohlen, die Veröffentlichung personenbezogener Daten auf ein Minimum zu beschränken (z.B. genügen in manchen Situationen nur Zahlen oder nur Namen von Schüler, ohne Nachnamen).

4. Persönliche Daten von Projektteilnehmern dürfen nur auf offiziellen Webseiten veröffentlicht werden, wie z.B.: Projektwebseiten (z.B. in eTwinning-Projekten – öffentliche Seiten in TwinSpace), Schulwebseiten.

4a. Die Veröffentlichung personenbezogener Daten der Projektteilnehmer auf dem Facebook- oder Instagram-Profil der Schule ist möglich, sofern dies in der jeweiligen Schule erlaubt ist. Allerdings ist es bei der Veröffentlichung einzelner Dokumente erforderlich, die an den Partnerschulen geltenden Regelungen zu berücksichtigen und gegebenenfalls die entsprechende(n) Einwilligung(en) für eine solche Veröffentlichung einzuholen.

4b. Texte/Dokumente, die aus Projektaktivitäten resultieren, dürfen in privaten sozialen Netzwerken veröffentlicht werden, sofern jedoch neben dem Autor der Veröffentlichung auch personenbezogene Daten anderer Projektbeteiligter vorliegen, ist eine gesonderte Einwilligung aller dieser Personen einzuholen. Man sollte sich so verhalten, dass sich niemand beleidigt, verletzt, bloßgestellt oder kompromittiert fühlt.

5. Um die Datenübertragung in öffentlichen Netzwerken zu sichern, wird empfohlen, personenbezogene Daten bei der Online-Übermittlung zu verschlüsseln.

6. Im Falle einer Veröffentlichung personenbezogener Daten auf den Webseiten z.B. eines Projekts oder einer Schule oder in sozialen Medien entgegen den Zielen des Projekts oder ohne Zustimmung der Beteiligten und im Fall der Meldung solch einer Situation durch die verletzte(n) Person(en) gelten diesbezügliche nationale und regionale Vorschriften. Es kann auch dazu führen, dass die Schule vom Täter gewechselt werden muss.

7. Während der Vorbereitungstreffen für ein bestimmtes Projekt sollten Schüler und Eltern vom Lehrerteam der Erasmus+/eTwinning-Schule über die Regeln für die Veröffentlichung personenbezogener Daten von Projektteilnehmern im Internet innerhalb des Projekts und außerhalb von Projektaktivitäten sowie über die Konsequenzen des Verstoßesgegen diese Vorschriften informiert werden.

7a. Es wird empfohlen, die Schüler und Eltern mit der Verordnung des Europäischen Parlaments vom 27. April 2016 zum Schutz natürlicher Personen bei der Verarbeitung personenbezogener Daten vertraut zu machen.

Urheberrecht

1. Bei der Nutzung von Materialien aus dem Internet bei der Erstellung von Textdokumenten oder grafischen Arbeiten im Rahmen von Projektaktivitäten im Schulteam oder bei internationalen Treffen in der eigenen Schule und in Partnerschulen ist das Urheberrecht zu beachten.

1a. In eigenen Werken darf man-sofern es erforderlich ist- nur die Fotos oder Videos verwenden, die das Creative-Commons-Symbol (man kann uneingeschränkt veröffentlichen) oder CC-BY-Symbol(man kann veröffentlichen, muss man aber den Urheber angeben) tragen.

1b. Bei Texten ist es am besten, das verwendete Fragment in Anführungszeichen zu setzen und den Autor dieser Wörter anzugeben.

1c. Damit der Lehrer dies überprüfen kann, sollte immer die Quelle des Dokuments angegeben werden.

1d. Es wird empfohlen, eigene Fotos, Videos und Texte zu erstellen, anstatt vorgefertigte Materialien aus Internet zu nutzen.

2. Wenn man eigene Werke, die einzeln oder gemeinsam im Rahmen von Projektaktivitäten im Schulteam oder bei internationalen Treffen an der eigenen Schule oder in Partnerschulen entwickelt wurden, im Internet veröffentlicht, sollteman die Regeln zum Schutz des eigenen geistigen Eigentums beachten.

2a. Jedes einzeln oder gemeinsam im Rahmen von Projektaktivitäten und für die Zwecke des Projekts entwickelte Dokument oder grafisches Werk ist mit dem Namen desAutors/der Autoren zu unterzeichnen.

2b. Bei Artikeln und anderen Werken, die in Form eines Word-Dokuments veröffentlicht werden, sind neben dem Vor- und Nachnamen des Autors auch der Name der Schule und das Herkunftsland anzugeben. Bei direkt in Diskussionsforen veröffentlichten Stellungnahmen ist dies nicht erforderlich, dort wird der Autor automatisch angezeigt.

3. Im Falle einer Urheberrechtsverletzung, die vom Geschädigten angezeigt wird, gelten die nationalen bzw. regionalen Vorschriften.

4. Während der Vorbereitungstreffen für ein bestimmtes Projekt sollte das Erasmus+Lehrerteam der Schule die Schüler mit den Regeln des Urheberrechts und des Schutzes des geistigen Eigentums vertraut machen.

4a. Erasmus+/eTwinning-Schüler sollten die Regeln für die Veröffentlichung von Inhalten unter Creative-Commons-Lizenzen kennen und befolgen, und Lehrkräfte sollten dies überwachen.

5. Es wird empfohlen, die in internationalen Erasmus+ Projekten entwickelten Endergebnisse unter der Creative Commons Namensnennung -Lizenz zu veröffentlichen:

„Erasmus+ fördert den offenen Zugang zu Materialien, Dokumenten und Medien, die für Lernen, Lehren, Schulung und Arbeit mit den Jugendlichen hilfreich sind, und auch im Rahmen von durch das Programm geförderten Projekten erstellt werden. Erasmus+ Begünstigte, die solche Materialien, Dokumente und Medien im Rahmen eines geförderten Projekts entwickeln, sollten sie der Öffentlichkeit in digitaler Form zugänglich d.h. frei verfügbar über das Internet unter offenen Lizenzen machen.“

Sicherheit des Schülers im Netz

1. Projektaufgaben sollten nach Möglichkeit auf Schulcomputern durchgeführt werden, die mit rechtlichen Programmen und Anwendungen sowie Antivirensoftware und anderen Software-/Sicherheitsmodulen ausgestattet sind, gemäß den Richtlinien für die Nutzung dieser Geräte durch Schüler in einer bestimmten Schule.

1a. Es ist dem Schüler gestattet, einige Arbeiten an seinem privaten Computer in der Schule oder zu Hause durchzuführen. Diese Computer sollten jedoch die in Punkt 1 beschriebenen Anforderungen erfüllen.

2. Um mit eigenen Schülern im Schulteam zu kommunizieren, sollten Lehrer die Plattformen und Anwendungenbzw. Apps verwenden, die in einer bestimmten Schule genehmigt und verwendet werden, z.B. Microsoft Teams, Librus.

2a. Bei internationalen Aktivitäten sollten Kommunikationsinstrumente innerhalb einer Gruppe gemeinsam und eindeutig definiert werden. Man sollte ein Werkzeug, das in jeder von allen an der Aktivität teilnehmenden Schulen akzeptiert wird, finden.

3. Während der Projektaktivitäten sollten Erasmus+/eTwinning Lehrer die Aufmerksamkeit der Erasmus+/eTwinning Schüler auf die folgenden Aspekte der sicheren Internetnutzung lenken:

- Installation von Antiviren- und anderen Sicherheitsprogrammen,

- Installation legaler Programme und Apps,

- Verwendung der erweiterten Passwörter, ohne diese an einem öffentlichen Ort zu speichern,

- Verwendung des Inkognito-Modus in Browsern,

- Abmelden von Portalen und Apps,

- Datenverschlüsselung bei der Übertragung usw.

4. Projektaktivitäten im Internet und Online sollten bei Erasmus+/eTwinning Schülern die Fähigkeit entwickeln, Informationen im Internet bewusst auszusuchen, auszuwählen und zu nutzen sowie soziale Medien verantwortungsvoll und sicher zu nutzen.

5. Erasmus+/eTwinning Lehrer sollten das Bewusstsein der Schüler für die Gefahren des „Online-Seins“ schärfen, wie z.B. Manipulation, Fake News, Werbung, Hassreden, Sucht.

6. Jedes internationale Projekt sollte als eine weitere praktische Bildungsaktivität der Schule im Bereich der Online-Sicherheit von Schülern betrachtet werden.

Schüler in sozialen Netzwerken und das Image der Schule

1. Unter den im Rahmen des Projekts erstellten Texten, Fotos oder Videos dürfen nur Materialien, die das gute Image der Schule fördern, in sozialen Netzwerken veröffentlicht werden.

1a. Gerne gesehen ist, in sozialen Netzwerken die Informationen zu veröffentlichen, die den Nutzen der Teilnahmean einzelnen Projektaktivitäten aufzeigen und das Interesse potenzieller zukünftiger Erasmus+/eTwinning Schüler wecken können.

2. Beiträge (Kommentare, Fotos, Videos), die dem guten Image der Schule, der Lehrkräfte oder anderer Schüler schaden könnten, sind ebenso verboten wie die Veröffentlichung von Schuldaten in sozialen Netzwerken ohne Zustimmung der Schule und für einen ungerechtfertigten Zweck.

3. Während der Projektaktivitäten sollten Erasmus+/eTwinningLehrerdie Erasmus+/eTwinning Schüler auf den Zusammenhang zwischen ihrer Online-Präsenz und dem guten Image der Schule aufmerksam machen und sie dazu ermutigen, entsprechende Materialien online zu veröffentlichen.

3a. Im Falle der Feststellung oder des Erhalts von Informationüber einen Verstoß gegen die Regeln gemäß Punkt 2 ist der Lehrer verpflichtet, zu reagieren, mit dem Schüler zu sprechen und ihn aufzufordern, den unangemessenen Beitrag zu entfernen.

4. Bei Handlungen, die das Ansehen der Schule beeinträchtigen, gelten die schulischen Regelungen über die Folgen eines solchen Verhaltens des Schülers.

Mobile Geräte in Bildungsaktivitäten

1. Bei Bildungsaktivitäten im Schulteam und im Rahmen internationaler Treffen an der eigenen Schule und in Partnerschulen, wie zum Beispiel: Vortrag, Unterrichtstunde, Präsentation, Diskussion, Workshops oder Besichtigungsführungen, sollten Telefone und andere private Mobilgeräte in einem Rucksack oder in einer Hosentasche mit Stummschaltung aufbewahrt werden.

2. Bei Projektaktivitäten im Schulteam und im Rahmen internationaler Treffen in der eigenen Schule und in Partnerschulen dürfen die Schüler bei Bedarf private Mobilgeräte (z.B. Tabletts, Mobiltelefone) nutzen, jedoch nur auf Anfrage und mit Zustimmung eines Lehrers oder einer anderen Person, die diese Aktivitätleitet.

2a. Es kann auch ein privates Gerät für den Schulgebrauch sein, sofern die Schüler gemäß den Schulrichtlinien über eines verfügen.

3. Der Einsatz mobiler Geräte sollte jedoch konstruktiv in die Umsetzung einzelner Projektaktivitäten einbezogen werden und sich aus konkreten Bildungszielen ergeben.

4. Für die Zwecke des Projekts können Erasmus+/eTwinningSchüler über ein Mobiltelefon oder ein anderes privates tragbares Gerät auf das WLAN-Netzwerk der Schule zugreifen.

5. Die Verwendung von Foto- und Video- Apps ohne Zustimmung der Lehrer und nicht für die Zwecke des Projekts ist untersagt.

6. Die Schüler sollten Kommunikationsanwendungen nutzen, die in einer bestimmten Schule gelten oder gemeinsam mit Partnerschulen eines bestimmten Projekts vereinbart wurden.

6a. Bei der Festlegung der Kommunikationsanwendungen, die in einem bestimmten Projekt verwendet werden können, sollten die in den einzelnen Partnerschulen geltenden Regeln berücksichtigt werden.

7. Während der Vorbereitungstreffen für ein bestimmtes internationales Projekt sollteErasmus+/eTwinning Lehrerteam der Schule seine Schüler über die Regeln für die Nutzung von Telefonen und anderen privaten Mobilgeräten während der Projektaktivitäten informieren.

8. Für den Fall, dass ein Schüler während der Projektaktivitäten ein Mobiltelefon für andere als die von der Person, die eine bestimmten Projektaktivität leitet, angegebenen Zwecke verwendet, gelten die Schulvorschriften bezüglich der Folgen eines solchen Verhaltens des Schülers.

Netiquette

1. In jedem neuen internationalen Team sollte in der ersten Phase der Zusammenarbeit und des Projekts das sog. Netiquette (Savoir-vivre-Regeln im Internet) unter Berücksichtigung von Werten wie: Respekt, Toleranz, Höflichkeit und Freundlichkeit, Verantwortung erarbeitet werden.

2. Netiquette der Online-Projektarbeit sollte in erster Linie die Art und Weise definieren, wie man miteinander umgeht, die Arbeit von Kollegen kommentiert, Materialien, Fotos und Videos veröffentlicht und an Online-Meetings teilnimmt.

3. Der gemeinsam mit den Schülern entwickelte Verhaltens- und Einstellungskanon in der Projektarbeit erhöht die Chancen, dass sie die Netiquette bei einzelnen Projektaktivitäten einhalten.

4. Durch Befolgen der Netiquette bei Projektaktivitäten können Erasmus+/eTwinning Schüler auf die Notwendigkeit, andere Standpunkte zu respektieren und angemessene und würdevolle Beziehungen zu anderen Netzwerknutzern zu pflegen, aufmerksam gemacht werden.

5. Die Projektteilnehmer sollten für die Notwendigkeit, die Richtigkeit der bereitgestellten Informationen zu überprüfen (um die Verbreitung von Fake News zu verhindern) sensibilisiert werden,und auch vorbereitet werden, Verantwortung für ihre eigenen Worte zu übernehmen (um anonymen Hass im Internet zu reduzieren). Die Netiquette soll sicherstellen, dass niemand beleidigt, verletzt, lächerlich gemacht oder diskreditiert wird.

6. Durch die Teilnahme am Projekt und die Zusammenarbeit mit Lehrern (auch mit den der Partnerschulen) sollten die Schüler lernen, E-Mails richtig zu schreiben, den Chat passend zu nutzen und auch angemessene formelle und informelle Begrüßungen, Abkürzungen und Emoticons zu verwenden.

7. Bei Online-Projektaktivitäten wird empfohlen, dass die Kameras von den Personen, die am Treffen einer bestimmten Gruppe teilnehmen, eingeschaltet werden. Das Fotografieren und Aufzeichnen ohne Zustimmung der Teilnehmer ist untersagt.

8. Bei Verstößen gegen die gemeinsam erarbeitete Netiquette des Projekts gelten die schulischen Regelungen zu den Folgen eines solchen Verhaltens, worüber Erasmus+/eTwinning Schüler vom Erasmus+/eTwinning Lehrerteam der jeweiligen Schule, während der Vorbereitungstreffen für ein bestimmtes internationales Projekt informiert, werdensollten.

*Bei der Umsetzung internationaler Schulprojekte sollte man nicht nur die in den DokumenteneigenerSchule dargelegten Regeln zur Veröffentlichung von Fotos und Videos beachten, sondern auch die diesbezüglichen Regelungen der Partnerschulen kennen und einhalten.

E-safety Policy in International School Projects

(such as Erasmus+ and eTwinning)

Intercultural competences should be considered not only in the real world, but also in the virtual dimension, which in turn makes it necessary to prepare specific guidelines for participants in international projects on how to behave "online" in accordance with the developed Catalogue of Intercultural Competences.

The e-Safety policy is needed for three reasons:

1. international school projects are based on information and communication technologies and digital media,

2. there are differences in e-Safety policies between schools,

3. participants in international school projects need specific guidelines and instructions on how to safely and responsibly ‘act online’ in the international arena.

The e-Safety policy aims to:

- provide clear guidelines on the appropriate and inappropriate use of technology and digital devices during international school projects,

- show participants in international school projects how to behave safely and responsibly in the international online world,

- encourage students to use digital technologies and mobile devices in an informed and appropriate manner,

- reduce the potential for negative consequences of violations in this area, i.e.: breaches of personal data, image, copyright infringement and security of individual participants in international school projects, and loss or damage to the school's reputation.

The e-Safety policy covers the following areas:

Image protection

1. Photographing and filming students, teachers and other school staff during project activities, both within the school team and in the context of international meetings at their own school and in partner schools, as well as the publication of photographs and video recordings on the Internet, requires explicit consent; in the case of students - a written consent of parents/legal guardians and/or the student (depending on age and national regulations), in the case of teachers and other school staff - the consent of the person concerned.

2.  If the school’s consent forms regarding image dissemination signed by parents/legal guardians for the duration of study in a given school do not cover international educational activities and the school requires additional/separate consents for international projects, such as eTwinning, Erasmus+, these consent forms should be collected and stored (together with basic consent forms regarding the participation in a given project) in the project documentation, in accordance with the guidelines of the programme concerned.

2a. A school participating in an international project should develop an appropriate annex to the consent to the project participation regarding image dissemination prior to the commencement of the recruitment for this project. In doing so, the template provided in the appendix may be used.

3. Photographs and video recordings taken during project activities should only be published for the purposes of the project (e.g. information, promotion, dissemination of results) or as part of school promotion (e.g. documentation of school work, educational offer).

4. Photographs and video recordings taken during project activities should only be published on official websites such as: the project website (e.g. in eTwinning projects - public pages in TwinSpace), the school website.

4a. The publication of photographs and videos on the school's Facebook or Instagram profile is possible if this is allowed in a given school. However, when posting individual content, the regulations in force in the partner schools regarding individuals in a given photograph or video recording must be taken into account and, if necessary, relevant permissions for such publication must be obtained.

4b. Photographs and video recordings taken during project activities may be published on private social media forums, however, if besides the author of the publication they contain the image of other persons, specific permissions must be obtained from all of them. This should be done so that no one feels offended, insulted, ridiculed or discredited.

5. In the event of sharing photographs or video content on social media without the consent of the person(s) concerned and reporting the situation by the affected person(s), national and regional regulations in this regard apply. This may also result in the need to change schools.

6. During preparatory meetings for a given project, students and parents should be informed by the teachers of the Erasmus+ school team about the rules for publishing photographs and video recordings based on project activities and the consequences of violating these regulations.

Personal data protection

1. The processing of personal data of students, teachers and other school staff within the scope of the project activities, both within the school team and during international meetings at their own school and in partner schools, as well as the publication of the names and other personal data of project participants on the Internet, requires explicit consent; in the case of students - a written consent of parents/legal guardians and/or the student (depending on age and national regulations), in the case of teachers and other school staff  - the consent of the person concerned.

2. If the school’s data processing consent forms signed by parents/legal guardians for the duration of study in a given school do not cover international educational activities and the school requires additional/separate consents for international projects such as eTwinning, Erasmus+, these consent forms should be collected and stored (together with basic consent forms regarding the participation in a given project) in the project documentation, in accordance with the guidelines of the programme concerned.

2a. A school participating in an international project should develop an appropriate annex to the consent to the project participation regarding processing of personal data prior to the commencement of the recruitment for this project. In doing so, the template provided in the appendix may be used.

3 Personal data of project participants should only be published for the purposes of the project (e.g. information, promotion, dissemination of results) or as part of school promotion (e.g. documentation of school work, educational offer). It is advisable to limit the publication of personal data to a minimum (e.g. in some situations only numbers or students' first names, without surnames, are sufficient).

4. Personal data of project participants should only be published on official websites such as: the project website (e.g. in eTwinning projects - public pages in TwinSpace), the school website.

4a. The publication of personal data of project participants on the school's Facebook or Instagram profile is possible if this is allowed in a given school. However, when posting individual documents, the regulations in force in the partner schools must be taken into account and, if necessary, relevant permission(s) for such publication must be obtained.

4b. Texts/documents resulting from project activities may be published on private social media forums, however, if apart from the personal data of the author of the publication, the document contains personal data of other project participants, specific permissions must be obtained from all of them. This should be done so that no one feels offended, insulted, ridiculed or discredited.

5. In order to secure data transmission over public networks, it is recommended that personal data be encrypted when transmitted online.

6. In the event of the publication of personal data on the websites e.g. a project or school website or on social media not in line with the objectives of the project or without the consent of the person(s) concerned and reporting the situation by the affected person(s), national regulations in this regard apply. This may also result in the need to change schools.

7 During preparatory meetings for a given project, students and parents should be informed by the teachers of the Erasmus+/eTwinning school team about the rules for publishing personal data of project participants on the Internet within and outside the scope of the project activities and the consequences of violating these regulations.

7a. It is recommended that students and parents should be made aware of the European Parliament Regulation of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data.

Copyright

1. When using content from the Internet to create text documents or graphic works as part of project activities within a school team or during international meetings at their own school and in partner schools, copyright must be respected.

1a. If necessary, the participants may use in their work only those photographs or videos that have a Creative Commons copyright symbol, i.e. they may publish them without restrictions, or a CC-BY copyright symbol, i.e. they may publish, but they have to credit the author.

1b. In the case of text, it is best practice to write the quoted fragment in inverted commas and indicate the author of the words.

1c. In order for the teacher to be able to verify it, the source of the document should always be provided.

1d. It is advisable for the participants to create their own images, videos and texts instead of using ready-made material from the Internet.

2. When posting one’s own work on the Internet, whether developed individually or jointly as part of project activities within a school team or during international meetings at their own school and the partner schools, one should remember about the principles of protecting their intellectual property.

2a. Any document or graphic work produced individually or jointly as part of project activities and for the purposes of the project should be signed with the name of the author/authors.

2b. In the case of articles and other work published in the form of a Word document, the symbol of the school and the country of origin should be provided in addition to the author’s first name and surname. This is not required for contributions published directly on discussion forums, where the author is automatically displayed.

3. In the event of copyright infringement and reporting the case by the affected person(s), national/regional regulations apply.

4. During preparatory meetings for a given project, the school Erasmus+ team of teachers should familiarize the students with the rules of copyright and the protection of their intellectual property.

4a. Erasmus+/eTwinning students should know and follow the rules for publishing content under Creative Commons licences and teachers should supervise this.

5. It is recommended to publish the project outputs developed in Erasmus+ international projects under the Creative Commons Attribution License:

‘The Erasmus+ promotes open access to materials, documents and media that are useful for learning, teaching, training, youth work and are produced by projects funded by the programme. In particular, Erasmus+ beneficiaries are committed to make any educational resources and tools which are produced in the context of projects supported by the Programme – documents, media, software or other materials freely available for the public under an open license.’

Student online safety

1. Project tasks should be performed, as far as possible, on school computers equipped with legal software and applications, as well as antivirus and other software/ security modules, in accordance with the guidelines for the use of this equipment by students in a given school.

1a. It is permissible for the student to perform some work on their private computer at school or at home. These computers, however, should meet the requirements described in point 1.

2. To communicate with their students in the school team, teachers should use platforms and applications approved and used in a given school, e.g. Microsoft Teams, Librus.

2a. In the case of international activities, communication tools should be jointly and clearly defined within a given group. A tool should be found that is accepted in each of the schools participating in a particular activity.

3. During project activities, Erasmus+ /eTwinning teachers should draw the attention of Erasmus+/eTwinning students to the following aspects of safe Internet use:

- installing antivirus and other security software,

- installing legal programmes and applications,

- using extended passwords and not saving them in a publicly accessible place,

- using incognito mode in browsers,

- logging out of portals and applications,

- data encryption during transmission, etc.

4. Project activity on the Internet and online should develop in Erasmus+/eTwinning students the ability to consciously search, select and use information from the Internet and the ability to use social media responsibly and safely.

5. Erasmus+/eTwinning teachers should develop students’ awareness of the dangers related to ‘being online’ such as manipulation, fake news, advertising, hate, addictions.

6. Each international project should be considered as another practical educational measure undertaken by the school in terms of student online safety.

Students on social media and the school image

1. From the text, photographic and video material produced during the project, only that which promotes the good image of the school may be published on social media.

1a. Posting information on social media forums about project activities that show the benefits of participation and may arouse the interest of potential future Erasmus+/eTwinning students is welcome.

2. Posts (comments, photographs, videos) that could damage the good image of the school, teachers or other students are prohibited, as is the publication of school data on social media forums without the school's permission and for an unjustified purpose.

3. During the project activities, Erasmus+/eTwinning teachers should make Erasmus+/eTwinning student participants aware of the link between their online presence and the good image of their school and encourage them to publish appropriate material online.

3a. In the event of noticing or receiving information about a violation of the rules referred to in point 2, the teacher is obliged to react, talk to the student and demand that they remove the inappropriate post.

4. In the case of actions detrimental to the school's image, school regulations regarding the consequences of such behaviour by the student apply.

Mobile devices in educational activities

1. During educational activities within the school team and within the scope of international meetings at their own school and in partner schools, such as lectures, talks, lessons, presentations, discussions, workshops or guided tours, mobile phones and other personal portable devices should be kept in a bag or pocket with the sound muted or switched off.

2. During project activities within the school team and within the scope of international meetings at their own school and in partner schools, students may use personal portable devices (e.g. tablets, mobile phones) if necessary, but only on the instruction and with the permission of the teacher or other person leading the activity.

2a. It can also be a personal device for school use only, if students have one in compliance with the school policy.

3. The use of mobile devices, however, should be constructively integrated into the implementation of individual project activities and result from specific educational objectives.

4. For the purposes of the project, Erasmus+/eTwinning students may access the school Wi-Fi network using a mobile phone or other personal portable device.

5. The use of photo and video applications without the teacher's permission and not for project purposes is prohibited.

6. Students should use communication applications allowed at their school or those agreed upon jointly with the partner schools of the project in question.

6a. When determining the communication applications allowed in a given project, the policies of the individual partner schools should be taken into account.

7. During preparatory meetings for a given international project, students should be informed by the teachers of the Erasmus+/eTwinning school team about the rules on the use of mobile phones and other personal portable devices during classes/project activities.

8. In the event of a student using a mobile phone during project activities for purposes other than those specified by the person running a given activity, school regulations regarding the consequences of such behaviour by the student apply.

Netiquette

1. In each new international team, the so-called Netiquette (rules of the Internet savoir-vivre) should be developed at the first stage of the cooperation and project, taking into account values such as: respect, tolerance, politeness, kindness and responsibility.

2. The Netiquette for online project work should primarily define the manner of relating to one another, commenting on the work of other project participants, posting materials, photographs and videos as well as participating in online meetings.

3. A canon of behaviour and attitudes in project work developed together with students increases the chances of them observing the Netiquette in individual project activities.

4. By following the Netiquette in project activities, Erasmus+/eTwinning students can be made aware of the need to respect other points of view and maintain appropriate and dignified relationship with other Internet users.

5. Project participants should be sensitized to the need to verify the accuracy of the information provided (in order to prevent the spread of fake news) and prepared to take responsibility for their own words (in order to reduceanonymous hate on the Internet). Netiquette is intended to ensure that no one is offended, insulted, ridiculed or discredited.

6. Through participation in the project and cooperation with teachers (also from the partner schools), students should learn how to correctly write e-mails, use Chat appropriately as well as use appropriate formal and informal greetings, acronyms and emoticons.

7. During online project activities, it is recommended that web cameras should be turned on by those participating in the meeting of a given group. Taking photographs and recording without the consent of the participants is prohibited.

8. In the event of a violation of the jointly developed project Netiquette, school regulations regarding the consequences of such behaviour apply. Erasmus+/eTwinning students should be informed about this by the Erasmus+/eTwinning school team of teachers during preparatory meetings for a given international project.

*When carrying out international school projects, the participants should not only follow the rules for the publication of photographs and videos set out in their institution's documents, but also know and comply with the regulations in this regard in partner schools.
