🌿 AI Wellness Guide: Promoting Mental Health and Well-being

An eTwinning project designed for students aged 11–15 that uses artificial intelligence to create interactive wellness guides promoting mental health, well-being, and stress management techniques.

🎯 Target Group:

  • Students aged 11–15 from various partner schools
  • Project conducted in English
  • Recommended: 4–6 partner schools, with 10–20 students each

📌 Project Stages:

1. Introduction and exploration of wellness techniques(2 weeks)
Students learn about relaxation methods, mindfulness practices, and stress management strategies from different cultures. They prepare presentations on techniques popular in their countries.

2. Creation of international project teams(1 week)
Students are divided into international teams. Each team chooses a wellness topic (e.g. school stress, mindfulness, healthy habits).

3. Designing AI Wellness Guides(3 weeks)
Using tools like ChatGPT or Character.ai, students create interactive guides with practical tips and culturally diverse strategies.

4. Audiovisual recordings of wellness techniques(2 weeks)
Students record short videos showing relaxation or mindfulness techniques. These are added to the AI guides.

5. Interactive presentation of AI Wellness Guides(2 weeks)
During a joint online event, students present their guides. Others can interact with them and test their usefulness.

6. Evaluation and reflection(1 week)
Students reflect on the project and share what they’ve learned. A digital gallery of guides is created for the school community.

🎯 Project Objectives:

  • Promote mental, emotional, and physical health
  • Develop language, social, and intercultural skills
  • Support creativity and digital competence
  • Encourage healthy habits and thoughtful use of technology

📚 Project Outcome:

A digital library of interactive wellness guides, accessible to students, teachers, and the entire school community.

Zine

📖 AI Zine Makers: Creating Digital Magazines with a Creative Twist

Project Description:

In the AI Zine Makers project, students from different countries form international editorial teams to create digital magazines (zines) on topics important to youth — such as emotions, friendship, the school of the future, ecology, or technology. They use artificial intelligence (AI) tools to generate texts, graphics, illustrations, comics, and even covers. The zines combine students’ creativity with AI capabilities, promoting self-expression, international collaboration, and digital skills development.

🎯 Target Group:

  • Students aged 11–15
  • Project conducted in English
  • 4–6 partner schools, with 10–15 students from each school

🗂️ Project Stages:

1. What is a zine? – Inspiration and examples(1 week)
Students learn about the concept of zines as independent, grassroots magazines, often digital. They view examples and choose a theme.

2. Forming editorial teams(1 week)
International teams (5–6 members) agree on a common theme (e.g. “My Perfect Day”, “Voices of Nature”, “Teen Tech Talk”) and assign roles: editors, illustrators, proofreaders, AI specialists.

3. Collecting materials and working with AI(2–3 weeks)
Teams create:

  • texts supported by AI (e.g. stories, interviews with fictional characters, guides)
  • illustrations and covers generated by AI (e.g. DALL·E, Bing Image Creator)
  • comics or infographics based on joint ideas

4. Layout and publication of the zine(1 week)
Zines are designed using tools such as Canva, Book Creator, Genially, or Adobe Express, and published online (e.g. on TwinSpace or Padlet).

5. Presentation and interactive exhibition(1 week)
Teams present their zines during a joint online meeting or an interactive exhibition, where other students can comment and ask questions.

6. Evaluation and reflection(1 week)
Students summarize their work, evaluate AI as a creativity support tool, and share their experiences.

🎯 Project Objectives:

  • Developing digital skills and creative thinking
  • Learning responsible use of AI
  • Improving language, communication, and teamwork skills
  • Promoting international cooperation and self-expression

📌 Final Outcome:

🌐 A virtual library of student-created zines, accessible to the entire school community — full of creative content produced by youth with AI support.
