The project aims to raise children's awareness of protecting and respecting the environment through knowledge of the beauties of our planet Earth, with a focus on the Green theme. A profound respect for the environment goes beyond the concepts of utility and necessity to reach those of beauty and well-being. The project, in fact, aims to promote the importance of caring for greenery from an early age through education in the BEAUTY of green living as an essential experience that promotes our well-being and our sense of belonging to the Earth. The project, starting from the observation and analysis of the spaces in which we live (school, home, town...), aims to involve students in becoming protagonists and supporters of a green transformation, making them responsible for caring for the landscape. The activities will range from knowledge of the typical plants of each partner's territory and their characteristics, to their use in the kitchen and in the healthcare sector, up to the representation of greenery in art, literature and cinema. This will be followed by reflections on correct behavior for the care and respect of public green areas. To this end, civic education workshops, educational gardens, direct field experiences and creative activities will be offered, also with the involvement of parents. The project will involve various moments of reflection and sharing among pupils, open exchange and learning with partners, through the creation of cooperative products and peer-to-peer activities. The vehicular language among partners will be English, but pupils may also use their mother tongue.
