Towards a more Sustanaible Europe

Towards a more Sustainable Europe is the gathering of VETs intending to promote the professional skills of their students and to promote vocational training. 2023 is the European Year of Skills, following the announcement by European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen. « We need much more focus in our investment on professional education… », she said. Thus, it is time to make to make the most of our students' abilities. For this purpose the teachers of the project will encourage collaboration in order to create a bridge between each professional abilities. This strategy will allow us to give value to the students’ respective professional skills, knowledge and to show that by working collaboratively each partner is able to take part in the creation of an event and carry out a project. Towards a more Sustainable Europe will also allow our students to broaden their view of professional fields on a European scale and give awareness of their belonging to a wider community. Moreover, by dealing with the sustainable development goals, the project will enable students to become aware and act as citizens. Finally, the use of games and the creation of an escape game as a final product will reinforce their social abilities. They will understand better that it is necessary to work together to achieve a project and try to improve human lives and protect the environment. With Towards a more Sustanaible Europe students will build empathy and get a better understanding of their social environment. The project is intended to take place during two years. The following year would be a physical meeting of the different teams on the topic of the SDG’s.
