OPTIMUS SIGN OF SUCCESS! (OPTIMUS SOS!)

“How can gamification help language teachers and learners? ”Let’s put ordinary things aside and build “the sign of success”together! One of the biggest problems of digital age in education is undoubtedly the attention problem of students. For this reason, we as educators are looking for fun ways to convey information and to attract students' attention. In this way, we would like to develope alternative education systems to the traditional education approach. The project lasts from January to May. Key words for our project:Gamification, game elements, behavior, motivation, success, computer aided foreign language teaching, language teaching with digital games, educational digital game development. One of themostimportanttechniquesdevelopedandused in education in recentyears is gamification in education. Theuse of elements in theexistinglearningareaforeducationundoubtedlymakeseducationmoreinterestingforstudents. Positivecontributions of gamification in educationhavebeenobserved on students. Gamification in education in 21st Century EducationandKeyCompetencesarelike as following: -Meaning -PositivePsychology -Relationships -Engagement -Achievement There are techniques to increase each in the project process. Many activities can be used systematically within positive psychology with a better sense of happiness and wellbeing.
