Despite the existing animosity between countries and the never-ending discussions about voting, each year millions of Europeans sit in front of the tv to watch Eurovision. Inspired by this contest we have created the project “EuroMission'' based upon the local heritage, both tangible and intangible, cultural and natural, of the participant countries. The objectives will be achieved through interdisciplinary, cooperative and transnational research projects. The main goal is for our students to become familiar both with their heritage and with that of our partners, to promote its preservation and increase the feeling of belonging to Europe. Our ultimate horizon is to train citizens with autonomy, with a critical conscience and with the capacity to discern, who are able to handle themselves in the vortex of information that surrounds us and, at the same time, allow them to appreciate the values of the European Union.
