Education is a more formal way to broaden one’s knowledge. Development is aimed at the long term. It revolves around the broadening or deepening of knowledge. This has to fit within one’s personal development goals. Development usually happens voluntarily. Each individual has a unique learning method of a foreign language. Some are good at speaking and writing others at listening or reading. The duty of educators is to discover the learning method in which the child is strong and to provide effective learning with appropriate tools.
