In this project, students are expected to write letters in order to introduce themselves, their culture, and traditions. They will not only introduce themselves but also will familiarize students from different places. Through this project, they will recognize their environment and culture . They will look at their lives from a different perspective and they will write letters to describe them vividly. The aim of this project is to improve students' writing skills and vocabulary knowledge. The project also allows students to practice English in real life. In addition to these, students will be motivated to think creatively since they are expected to prepare postcards to celebrate each others' special days or national festivals. In short, students will send letters and postcards to each other in order to start and share a cultural friendship.
