Discovering the world with new technologies!

The aim of the project is to promote basic competencies in ICT (including about artificial intelligence) through integration of them into the curriculum of our schools. It advocates for the development of quality and innovation in education. XXI century teacher is a versatile personality who inspires, connects and organizes the learning process through communication to young people and develops individuality and curiosity in young people. The involvement of three schools in the project develops cooperation between teachers, students, parents and administration. The three teams will have three exchanges of the student that will connect three communities in seeking the best practices via workshops, ideas exchanges and informal talks. Having the same needs, but different settings, experience in integration of ICT, the schools meet in the project and with the associates seeks for qualitative changes in their schools. The ICT competences are the basis of the XXI st century school. The young person has to be equipped with tools that help them to be creative, critical thinkers, good cooperators and collaborators. To boost their motivation to learn and to become successful citizens they have to be able to use ICT tools for everyday learning. All three project partners have the same goal:to make their curriculum innovative and interesting for their students. The project will promote creativity through ICT which will foster creativity in teachers and students. Also, contemporary students (and teachers) are very often ICT illiterate as they use it only for chatting and watching videos. This project will direct their mind towards different apps that can be used for education, communication with foreign partners, sharing ideas and creating additional value not only for themselves, their school, but for all Nordic and Baltic countries.
