I’m an English teacher in a secondary school. So, my students’ age is 10 to 15. As you know, people, even kids, love to try to do something (new?). My aim is to teach a foreign language through Turkish cuisine. It is rich and contains variety of cooking processes as well as local dishes. While giving the local cuisine cookery classes in English, my students, apart of learning English language and obtaining cooking skills, may also gain some historical information. Carrying on their traditions while learning a foreign language is the most important point here.
