NEUROEDUCATION AND COACHING - 7 DAYS
This course is aimed at teachers, educators, organization or team leaders and all those who are interested in use of basic coaching methods and techniques taking into consideration the knowledge about the brain and the coaching approach to teaching and learning. Participants are expected to have at least B1 level of English proficiency.
Description
The course cosists of 35 didactic hours and includes the following moduels:
- Introduction of participants, outline of the programme, warm ups and ice breakers
- Introduction to neuroeducation, practical exercises on perception and attention
- Traditional and commercial methods of teaching; practical exercise on the choice of method
- Introduction to coaching; practical exercises on using coaching tools
- Online tools for collaboration in projects besed on neuroeducation and coaching, eTwinning
- Cultural exchange
- Teambuilding and networking activities with a city tour or a cultural trip
- Presentation of outcomes, discussion, evaluation and closing session
Learning objectives
- Understanding of the properties of the human brain and its functions
- Providing teachers with a general overview of the basic coaching methods and techniques taking into consideration neurolinguistic approach to teaching and learning
- Reminding and revision of traditional and commercial methods of teaching with the focus on their neurolinguistic part
- Ability to use the coaching techniques in / out side classroom environment
- Improving the use of English (official language of the course).
- Promoting intercultural awareness.
- Sharing experiences of educational methodologies as well as diverse coaching strategies in education in different countries in order to help each of us to be more effective in our work.
- Strengthening the European collaboration among people practicing coaching and neurolinguistic approach to teaching and learning.
- Providing insights into different education systems.

All the materials will be made available to the participants in digital form upon completion of the course.
Certification details
Certificate includes the topic, dates and location of the course. We can list the record of learning outcomes on the Europass Mobility Document on request of participants.
