Lapland International Forum for Education™ was chosen in 2019 as one of the Authentic Finnish Educational Travel Product contest winners. LIFE2025 offers an exclusive opportunity to visit Finnish kindergartens, primary and secondary schools, and the University of Lapland‘s Teacher Training School. One day you will even get chance to job shadow Finnish teachers from the students’ perspective during our Be a Student -lesson simulations. During LIFE2025, you will learn concrete means of cultivating the happiness of pupils and the whole working community. In Rovaniemi, we’ll establish our own collaborative learning culture and experience its impact firsthand. All teachers' shared challenge is fostering active, happy, and productive learners. Finnish happiness, which encompasses connection to others, the freedom to be oneself, savoring the simple joys of everyday life, and a profound connection to nature, finds its roots in our schools, where nurturing these values is a priority. 

The essential part of LIFE2025 takes place right near the Arctic Circle in the city of Rovaniemi, also known as the official hometown of Santa Claus. You will have an opportunity to meet him in person and participate in many other exciting and unique winter adventures, such as husky ride, snowmobile safari, cuddling reindeer, and hunting aurora borealis.
