Using online and free tools we can replicate the environment, create our own inventions or fix broken pieces.
As entrepreneurs, we will design new solutions and discover the maker movement that exists. The philosophy of sharing knowledge and seeking solutions to our projects.
A course where you can understand the different free design tools that you can use in education and how to use a 3D printer in collaborative projects.
Know different 3D design tools: Tinkercad, FreeCAD, BlocksCAD3D, Beetle Blocks.
And visit a Maker space in Barcelona.

- Know the types of printers and their history.
- Know different free 3D design tools and their use: Tinkercad, FreeCAD, BlocksCAD3D, Beetle Blocks.
- Start in a free 3D design tool. First projects.
- Move from design to 3D printing.
- Parts of a 3D printer and how to solve printing problems.
- Know what digital manufacturing is: printing centers and Maker spaces in the center.
- Design a Maker space for the center.
- Know the benefits of the Maker Movement and collaborative projects.
- Project work. Design of a project with 3D vision.
Methodology & assessment
Learn by doing
Explain different concepts, try with the new tool and share the creation with the others.
Assessment:
At the beginning of the training course, the Organizer is going to hand out the initial assessment forms to the participants with the topics that are going to be covered during the course. The participants will fill and return them to the Tutor.
During the course, the participants will do different activities to verify if they understand the content.
And at the end of the course they will respond to a survey, to rate the course. All the feedback provided is going to be thoroughly analyzed by the Tutor.
