3D print - Creation of educational aids

Short description

The project will try to improve at improving students' digital skills in the Tinkercad online environment and motivating active learning using web tools and participation in various educational activities, including other school subjects such as English language, mathematics, national language. Through joint activities, students will become authors and programmers of teaching aids for younger classmates, they will inspire and motivate each other. Teamwork and cooperation will also develop their communication and social skills.

Project objectives:

The main goal of this project is the acquisition of digital skills in the Tinkercad environment, so that students can easily program and collaborate on common topics as part of teaching computer science. Participation in project activities will ensure:

improvement of digital skills, algorithmic thinking, communication skills in a foreign language,

increasing the motivation to learn and be active in informatics classes,

learning different learning strategies,

connecting the learning of informatics with other subjects,

expanding knowledge in the field of safe communication on the Internet,

students' ability to cooperate, inspire and tolerate each other,

to establish friendships between students, teachers, schools and communities.

Work process:

The project is planned from November to April and is divided into monthly stages focused on topics agreed upon by the partners. Each phase will include different activities in the Tinkercad environment (creating an account, uploading a profile photo, familiarizing yourself with the programming environment, inserting an object, changing dimensions, merging objects, cutting objects, saving a project, downloading an stl file). Students will work as authors of teaching aids, who will program these aids themselves in informatics classes, they will create aid designs in art education classes. There will also be challenges to strengthen students' motivation to learn and regular monthly online meetings to support students' communication skills. Partners will create activities and tasks for each other, monitor and comment on their results, while sharing responsibility for project progress.

Expected results:

ebook of activities and stl files with design aids for printing on a 3d printer
