Don't Bully Be Buddy

Peer bullying is a problem that is frequently seen at schools around the world and in Turkey and at every school level. Peer bullying, which we often encounter at schools, is defined as ‘aggressive behavior by one or several students towards another student’. According to research, peer bullying incidents are observed at high school level between 7% and 40% in different countries around the world and between 24% and 51% in our country. Peer bullying has both short-term and long-term physical, cognitive, behavioral, social and emotional consequences for all students involved in this incident. We want to do a project called “Zorba Olma Kanka Ol / Don't Bully Be Buddy” to raise awareness about peer bullying at our own schools in particular and in general, where our schools are located. Our project is for 13-17 year-old students.
