A compendium of the 2021 European Innovative Teaching Award laureates

A lot of innovation takes place in schools across Europe driven by teachers and school communities. Teachers have developed new ways of integrating technologies in teaching and learning. As such, the European Innovative Teaching Award aims to recognise achievements within the Erasmus+ programme, showcasing projects that incorporate outstanding innovative teaching practices.

Launched in 2021 as a new action under the European Education Area, the Award celebrates the achievements of teachers and schools and gives credit to their work, along with highlighting the value of the Erasmus+ programme to European teacher collaboration and the establishment of the European Education Area. Erasmus+ is key for supporting mutual learning through learning mobility abroad, professional networking and communities of practices, and, finally, professional excellence.
