"ECOEDU: Educate, Empower, Sustain – Schools Leading the Way for a Green Future"

Our project focuses on addressing the social, environmental and economic dimensions of sustainability within the framework of the UN Sustainable Development Goals and integrating sustainable living skills into school education through transnational collaborations Collaborative projects between nations and institutions help to sustain the cultural values of the European Union by promoting its culture and shared values. As educators, we believe that we must develop and support our young people with the knowledge, skills, values and attitudes necessary to live in a sustainable and resource-efficient society. The increasing threat of climate change is undeniable and its lasting consequences will profoundly shape the future. Human activities such as fossil fuel consumption, deforestation and unsustainable agricultural practices are exacerbating climate change, threatening the sustainability of Earth’s systems and living conditions. We believe that integrating sustainability education into our curriculum is crucial to closing the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical engagement. We are committed to this effort, recognizing that Sustainability Education is a powerful force that will mobilize the collective commitment of young people to build an environmentally sustainable society.
