The European Commission has produced a biodiversity toolkit for educators of students aged 13-16.

The toolkit aims to help students understand the importance of Europe’s nature by introducing them to topics such as biodiversity and basic environmental science concepts. Within the toolkit are resources to find and recognise different plant and animal species as well as local habitats. Students will be able to engage with nature in a meaningful way and communicate what Europe’s shared natural heritage means to them personally.
