Mentoring and Coaching are two different definitions. The key difference between those two methods is that mentoring is directive, with the mentor giving advice, whereas coaching is non-directive and a more reflective method.

This webinar focused on how mentors can use narratives and co-coaching as a way of engaging thoughtfully and opening up dialogue about future practices in education. This work has been developed through an Erasmus+ project designed in response to educational futures emerging from the pandemic.

Professor Rachel Lofthouse is Professor of Teacher Education in the Carnegie School of Education at Leeds Beckett University, UK.  She is the Director of CollectivED The Centre for Coaching, Mentoring, Supervision and Professional Learning and undertakes research and development in these areas.
