About the speakers

Nicole Busby

Associate professor at the Language and Literature department at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) in Trondheim. She researches second language acquisition and has mainly focused on the acquisition of English in Norway, and whether learning English through informal out-of-class activities such as watching movies and playing computer games has an impact on how well Norwegian students are prepared for reading academic texts in English at university.
