Description

The course consists of 50 didactic hours and includes the following modules:

Introduction of participants, warm ups and ice breakers, outline of the programme
Overview of team building and its significance for schools and educational organizations
Introduction to team building
Presenting, analyzing and explaining a selection team-building activities that work
Focus on e-team building
Individual support
Presentation of outcomes, discussion, evaluation and closing session

There is also an organised tour to discover the cultural significance and natural beauties of Barcelona and network with colleagues.

Learning objectives

Learn the significance of team building and team spirit for the work place in general and schools and educational organizations in particular
Learn about the positive influence of team building on the students’ learning and on the quality of work life (for teachers and other staff) as well as on other circumstances of being members of groups
Learn how it is possible to create an atmosphere of collaboration and community
Develop communicative skills
Promote the idea of tolerance and acceptance of ambiguity
Develop positive qualities such as empathy, trust and sense of belonging in a group
Learn a set of techniques and practices contributing into team building
Acquire skills to re-use and adapt the various activities in the participants’schools/organizations

Methodology & assessment

Methodology is based on theoretical lessons and presentations of examples of good practice as well as discussions and experience comparisons. Participants will have the opportunity to get to know the theoretical background as well as go through a series of practical exercises in order to develop skills for team building. Some other tools used may consist of project work, study visits, workshops, writing assignments, reflection and evaluation. Assessment is carried out by the course trainer on a day to day basis and the learning outcomes are recorded on the Europass Mobility Document on request.

Materials, digital tools & other learning resources

All the materials will be made available to the participants in digital form upon completion of the course.

Certification details

Certificate complies with the guidelines of the Erasmus+ programme and includes the topic, number of didactic hours, dates and location of the course. We can list the record of learning outcomes on the Europass Mobility Document on request of participants. In case. A participant requires a specific format of certificate we can accommodate that if requested at least one week before the start of the course. It is necessary to attend at least 80% of the hours in order to receive the certificate.

Course package content:

The course fee includes tuition and materials for the course and all administrative work. There is also one cultural activity for networking and socialising covered by the course fee.
Accommodation, meals and transportation are not included and participants are expected to organize and cover for these expenses by themselves.
We do not charge anything extra apart from the 800 EUR course fee.

Cancellation & changes:

Free cancellation up to 30 days before the start. After that, the reservation is not refundable. Changes in name and profile of the participant are possible any time before the start of the course. In case of extraordinary circumstances, we will offer a free re-scheduling to be used within 6 months.
