Methodology & assessment

The course follows a highly interactive and practice-oriented methodology based on non-formal education principles. It combines short theoretical inputs with hands-on workshops, group work, simulations, and role-play activities, allowing participants to experience innovative teaching and coaching strategies from a learner’s perspective. Collaborative learning, peer exchange, and reflection are key elements, encouraging participants to share experiences and adapt ideas to their own contexts. Digital tools and real classroom scenarios are integrated throughout the sessions.

Participants’ learning is continuously assessed through formative methods, including self-reflection, peer feedback, group presentations, and practical task outputs such as lesson plans and activity designs. Daily evaluation activities support reflection on acquired competences, while the final session focuses on assess of the overall learning outcomes and their transferability to classroom practice.

Materials, digital tools & other learning resources

The course uses presentations, case studies, worksheets, and practical toolkits. Participants work with digital tools such as collaborative platforms (Padlet, Google Workspace), interactive tools (Mentimeter, Kahoot), and content creation apps (Canva). Additional resources include real classroom scenarios, lesson plan templates, and curated online materials supporting innovative teaching, coaching strategies, and student-centred learning.
