Learning objectives

By the end of the course, participants will be able to integrate sustainability and inclusivity into their digital teaching practices. They will gain practical skills in designing learning activities related to climate action, waste reduction, and sustainable development using digital tools. Participants will learn to create inclusive digital classrooms by applying accessibility features and inclusive design principles. They will develop sustainability-focused lesson plans that actively engage learners and promote social responsibility. Participants will strengthen their confidence in teaching sustainability and inclusivity, supported by reflective practice and assessment. Additionally, they will be able to implement at least one classroom activity that combines digital tools, sustainability themes, and inclusive learning strategies.

Methodology & assessment

The course is delivered through interactive workshops, collaborative group work, project-based learning, and reflective discussions. Participants engage in hands-on activities using digital tools to design inclusive and sustainability-focused learning materials. Real-life classroom scenarios and examples support practical understanding. Assessment is formative and continuous, based on participation, group collaboration, and the quality of lesson plans produced. Participants complete pre- and post-training self-assessments to measure confidence and competence development. Final assessment includes the presentation of a sustainability-focused, inclusive lesson plan and reflection on how it will be implemented in participants’ own educational contexts.

Materials, digital tools & other learning resources

Materials include lesson plan templates, sustainability frameworks, and accessibility guidelines. Digital tools such as Canva, SDG Academy, Microsoft Immersive Reader, captioning tools, and multimedia platforms are used. Additional resources include open educational content, sustainability case studies, and inclusive design checklists.

Certification details

Upon successful completion of the course, participants will receive an official Certificate of Attendance confirming their participation and learning outcomes. The course learning achievements will also be formally recognized through Europass Mobility, in line with Erasmus+ Quality Standards. These documents will validate the skills acquired in nature-based learning, mindfulness, and well-being practices and can be used for professional development records and career advancement.
