Description

The Peer Assessment in Action course is a 7-day training program designed to equip educators with the knowledge and skills to implement effective peer assessment strategies in their classrooms. This course emphasizes the importance of collaboration and self-regulated learning, empowering students to actively participate in the assessment process. Through a combination of interactive lectures, hands-on activities, and seminars with experts from the academic sector, participants will gain practical insights and tools to enhance their understanding and implementation of peer assessment.

Learning objectives

  • Understand the concept and benefits of peer assessment in education.
  • Learn strategies for designing and implementing effective peer assessment activities.
  • Explore methods to foster collaboration and self-regulated learning through peer assessment.
  • Develop skills in providing constructive feedback and promoting peer feedback discussions.
  • Address challenges and considerations in implementing peer assessment approaches.
  • Reflect on current assessment practices and identify opportunities for integrating peer assessment.
  • Develop an action plan for implementing peer assessment in participants’ educational contexts.

Methodology & assessment

The course adopts a blended learning approach, combining interactive lectures, hands-on activities, and seminars with experts from the academic sector. Each day of the course focuses on specific topics related to peer assessment.

Materials, digital tools & other learning resources

All the materials will be provided by the teacher.

Certification details

Upon successful completion of the course, participants will be awarded a Certificate of Attendance compliant with Erasmus+ regulations. This certificate formally acknowledges the participant’s engagement and completion of the training program.

Requirements for certification include:

Active participation in all course activities and sessions

Completion and presentation of a project-based learning plan

Fulfillment of the minimum attendance requirement (typically 80% or as specified)

      The course package includes the following:

      • Full participation in the training course

  • Cancellation & changes:

    Participants may cancel their registration up to 30 days before the course start date with a full refund, excluding bank fees. Cancellations received less than 30 days prior to the course are non-refundable. However, a replacement participant from the same organization may be sent without additional cost.

    Changes to participation dates or course editions are possible, subject to availability, if requested at least 15 days prior to the course start.
