Pedagogical and cultural workshops and study visits: Ghent, Bruges, Brussels
This 5 (or 6 day course upon your choice and availability) is for teachers or school staff who are interested to use cultural heritage as an active and innovative resource of learning.

- Excursions: Ghent, Brussels, Bruges (& optional visit to Antwerp).

Description
During this exciting week in Belgium’s most beautiful city, Ghent,we’ll offer our participants an exciting week with a mix of cultural and pedagogical activities. Doing is learning: school visit(s), excursions to Bruges and Brussels, tastings, workshops and meeting opportunities.
Our trainers are also official teachers in the Belgian education system: they will share their experience, knowledge & tips, help you with questions and future projects.
Daily Program:
DAY 1: Ghent
- Welcome, energizers, meeting, what to expect.
- a History of Belgium + the unique school system.
- Methods, tools & apps for the classroom. (The 4C method, hands-on approach, apps)
DAY 2: School visit & Ghent: chocolate & beer
- School visit.
- Workshop: How Belgian beer found its way into the classroom: Visit to a brewery
DAY 3: Romantic Bruges (UNESCO)
- How to bring your own course to a historical city
- Storytelling, non-formal education & implementing your own curriculum into a historic visit. Activity: bring your own course to a medieval context.
Day 4: Medieval Ghent
Classroom examples (apps, teaching methods and examples) + chocolate workshop: participants make their own ‘Belgian Chocolates’ using a classroom setup.
Day 5:
1. Group session:
- More tools. Evaluation.
- e-twinning: connecting with teachers and projects.
2. “How to get more Europe in your classroom”
Excursion to Brussels.
Visit the EU corner in Brussels. Visit to the museum of the European union.

Day 6: Excursion to Antwerp, metropolitan city of Art & Architecture

- Certificate of Attendance: After successfully finishing your course, you'll receive an acknowledgment of completion aligned with quality standards similar to Erasmus.
- Europass Mobility Certificate: Upon request, we will approve your application of the Europass Mobility Certificate.
- Smooth Administrative Process: Our team offers support and guidance at every stage of the project, from the grant application to the final documentation.
To enhance your accessibility, our courses are structured to enable you to request 7-8 days of individual support for your subsistence costs. This includes 5-6 days for the course and an additional 2 days for travel.
