Description

This structured training course explores outdoor and experiential learning as effective approaches to environmental education in early years and primary contexts. Grounded in experiential learning theory and place-based education, the course examines how natural environments can function as meaningful learning spaces that foster ecological awareness, inclusion and learner engagement. Participants engage in practical outdoor activities and reflective processes that support the design, facilitation and assessment of outdoor learning experiences. Emphasis is placed on sustainability, well-being, inclusive practice and the use of accessible local environments, in line with Erasmus+ priorities.
