LEARN ENGLISH THE FUN WAY is a practical beginner English course designed for teachers and school staff who wish to develop foundational language competence in a supportive learning environment. The course focuses on basic communication skills needed for daily life, school settings, and Erasmus+ mobility activities. Through interactive activities, guided speaking practice, and real-life scenarios, participants acquire essential vocabulary and structures while building confidence and positive attitudes towards language learning. The programme supports linguistic inclusion and equal access to European professional opportunities. There is also a cultural evening and an excursion to discover the cultural significance and natural beauties of Guadeloupe and network with colleagues.

Learning objectives

By the end of the course, participants will be able to:

Use basic English vocabulary related to everyday life and school contexts
Apply simple grammatical structures (to be, present simple, basic questions)
Understand slow, clear spoken English in familiar situations
Participate in short, guided conversations using basic expressions
Use simple English for classroom interaction and professional communication
Communicate essential information in travel and mobility contexts
Develop confidence in speaking English without fear of making mistakes

Methodology & assessment

The course is based on a communicative, learner-centred methodology grounded in adult education principles. Language is introduced through meaningful contexts and practised through games, role-plays, guided dialogues, pair and group work, and movement-based activities. Visual support, repetition, and scaffolding ensure accessibility for beginner learners and support confidence-building. Assessment is formative and continuous, focusing on participation, engagement, and demonstrated communicative ability rather than formal testing. Feedback is provided through observation, peer interaction, self-reflection, and short speaking tasks, culminating in a final practical communicative activity.

Materials, digital tools & other learning resources

Materials include teacher-prepared worksheets, visual aids, flashcards, and real-life prompts. Digital tools such as presentation slides, audio recordings, and simple online exercises support listening and speaking practice. Authentic materials (maps, menus, signs) are used to connect learning with real-life and mobility contexts.

Certification details

Certificate complies with the guidelines of the Erasmus+ programme and includes the topic, number of didactic hours, dates and location of the course. We can list the record of learning outcomes on the Europass Mobility Document on request of participants. In case. A participant requires a specific format of certificate we can accommodation that if requested at least one week before the start of the course.

Course package content:

The course fee includes tution and materials for the course and all administrative work. There is also one cultural activity for netowrking and socialasing covered by the course fee.
Accommodation, meals and transportation are not included and participants are expected to organize and cover for these expenses by themselves.
We do not charge anything extra apart from the 400 EUR course fee.

Cancellation & changes:

Free cancellation up to 30 days before the start. After that, the reservation is not refundable. Changes in name and profile of the participant are possible any time before the start of the course. In case of extraordinary circumstances, we will offer a free re-scheduling to be used within 6 months.
