Description
This course equips educators with the knowledge and practical tools needed to design inclusive, fair, and learner-centred assessment and feedback practices. Participants explore formative assessment, alternative and authentic evaluation methods, differentiated assessment design, and strengths-based feedback strategies. Grounded in inclusive pedagogy and Universal Design for Learning (UDL), the course addresses ethical assessment, accommodations for diverse learners, and the role of digital tools in accessible evaluation. Available as both a 5-day and 10-day programme, the course aligns with the priorities of Erasmus+, promoting inclusion, quality education, digital competence, and learner well-being. There is also an organised tour to discover the cultural significance and natural beauties of Barcelona and network with colleagues.
Learning objectives
By the end of the course, participants will be able to:

- Analyse how assessment practices may create or reduce barriers to learning

Methodology & assessment
Materials, digital tools & other learning resources
Course materials include research-based readings, case studies, practical templates, inclusive assessment tools, and reflective worksheets. Participants work with digital platforms for formative assessment, multimedia feedback, and digital portfolios, alongside accessibility and assistive tools. All resources are adaptable for use in diverse classroom and school settings.
Certification details
Certificate complies with the guidelines of the Erasmus+ programme and includes the topic, number of didactic hours, dates and location of the course. We can list the record of learning outcomes on the Europass Mobility Document on request of participants. In case. A participant requires a specific format of certificate we can accommodate that if requested at least one week before the start of the course. It is necessary to attend at least 80% of the hours in order to receive the certificate.

Course package content:
The course fee includes tution and materials for the course and all administrative work. There is also one cultural activity for netowrking and socialasing covered by the course fee.
Accommodation, meals and transportation are not included and participants are expected to organize and cover for these expenses by themselves.
We do not charge anything extra apart from the 400 EUR course fee.

Free cancellation up to 30 days before the start. After that, the reservation is not refundable. Changes in name and profile of the participant are possible any time before the start of the course. In case of extraordinary circumstances, we will offer a free re-scheduling to be used within 6 months.
