Description
A journey through the landscapes and stories of Umbria, Italy, centred on the city of Assisi. Drawing inspiration from The Little Flowers of St. Francis of Assisi — reimagined through original songs — participants explore themes of inclusivity, environmental awareness, and community through music, drama, and storytelling.
Learning objectives
In this course the central concept regarding content is cultural heritage as an integrating element. All aspects of human existence - determinant factors for this existence as well as the outcomes of human endeavour and creativity - can be connected to this central concept. Landscape (natural as well as human-arranged), built environment, literature, food, religious ideas, music, mathematics and many more aspects fit into this definition. Therefore cultural heritage is also a perfect vehicle to connect and integrate the various school subjects. In this specific course drama and theatre will be used to express the all content related to St. Francis of Assisi.

Materials, digital tools & other learning resources
An on-line course magazine is a key element in the course programme. In the preparation phase content articles are published. Participants are invited to contribute articles and material to the magazine (text, photos, video clips, maps etc).

Participants will receive a certification of participation with an evaluation of there activties.
