Creative Classrooms: Digital Storytelling as a Gateway to Deeper Learning
Course is a dynamic professional development program designed to empower educators with innovative strategies for integrating digital storytelling into various subjects. Through hands-on training, collaborative workshops, and practical tools, teachers learn how to use digital media to enhance student engagement, support diverse learning styles, and foster creativity across the curriculum.
Description
Moving beyond traditional lessons, this course invites educators to explore how narrative, media, and creativity can unlock deeper student engagement, critical thinking, and real-world learning.
Participants will explore multiple storytelling genres—from documentaries to digital diaries, animations, and interactive narratives—while learning how to guide students through the full creative process: from idea generation to publishing. By the end of the course, teachers will leave with classroom-ready project plans, a practical toolkit, and renewed enthusiasm for student-centered learning.
