Empowering Young Children in the Digital Age
Digitalisation is transforming how the world operates, and it also affects various aspects of education, including early childhood and care. The OECD has created a report on how to optimise digitalisation for younger children, as well as studying its challenges.
Digital tools can help both pupils and teachers, however the report also highlights the dilemmas and challenges regarding digitalisation and younger children. The report’s central thesis is that ECEC should employ digital technology to enhance service quality and educate young children about the advantages and risks of these tools. It provides a road map to assist decision-makers in adopting a unified strategy for digitalisation in ECEC.
