ETWNNING WEEKS CAMPAIGN 2022
THE ETWINNING ANNUAL THEME 2022
In 2022 eTwinning invites teachers and students to reimagine their schools and reflect upon the elements that make their learning environment beautiful and sustainable. Teachers will be asked to creatively reflect on their “dream school” together with their students: a school that supports blended learning, education for sustainable development, well-being and inclusion. Students will have an active role and get involved in various actions and activities – not only to co-design the school’s physical environment, but also to make it a space where their values will be reflected.
In relation to the proposal for a Council Recommendation on blended learning to support high quality and inclusive primary and secondary education, Commissioner for Innovation, Research, Culture, Education and Youth, Mariya Gabriel confirmed:
“Striving for a vision of better quality and inclusive education and training is by no means limited to the COVID-19 context. There is an opportunity now to learn and move forward from the most recent experiences. Today’s proposal maps a vision of the education we want to see in Europe. One that supports the overall goals of the European Education Area and Digital Education Action Plan to promote quality and inclusion, green and digital education across Europe.”
This year, the Campaign will focus on the annual theme: “Our future beautiful, sustainable, together: Schools and the New European Bauhaus".
eTwinning Weeks will support participants with a wide range of activities focusing on this year’s annual theme, such as online events including expert talks, project fairs and online activities that will help them create new quality projects.

What?
eTwinning Weeks Campaign: Take a journey to Quality
This year participants will be encouraged to share their interests and work collaboratively on the creation of quality projects. This will be done through partner-finding fairs and inspirational webinars. Moreover, to be able to compare their work and therefore learn from one another and increase the quality of their projects, they will have the opportunity to participate in a peer-reviewing activity.
