Infectious diseases are on the top 10 list of threats for human health according to the World Health Organization (WHO). After COVID-19 virus being a serious item in the news, Virologist believe viruses through mosquito-infections can be a serious thread. However for decades infectious diseases are of great importance to fight for human kind health safety. It is important for people to be aware and know that the transmission of viruses can be largely reduced. Students will collaborate trough VirusKenner, a proven program to help to create more awareness about viral diseases and the way we can fight the transmission of these viruses. With the help of citizen science and gamification the students will try to get more people aware of different viruses.
