ABOUT THE PROJECT
About The Project
Language skills are important in many ways, such as being able to express oneself, understand life and develop creativity. Individuals should learn different languages in addition to their mother tongue education. In this way, they can contribute to their development. According to educators and linguists, foreign languages at an early age contribute to the cognitive development of children. Our aim in this project is to improve both our writing skills and foreign language skills. It is also to increase our digital competence by using web 2.0 tools. Our project we designed is aimed at students aged 10-15. The “Values from My Pen” project is a joint project led by teachers, where students improve themselves in values education, increase their creativity by writing new stories, explore the richness and traditions of their language, and share their findings with their peers around the world. The project serves the goals of e-Twinning and enables children and teachers to collaborate locally and globally using ICT technologies to improve learning and make a difference in their communities and around the world. It is also a project where students learn to respect animals, nature and the environment.
