We would like to encourage our students to learn about the historical and cultural heritage of the places they live in and, at the same time, compare and contrast them with the sights in their partners´ countries . We want to focus on historical monuments, mainly towers. They are marvellous works of engineering, symbols of towns. The students may do some research into church towers and spires, minarets, observation towers, lighthouses, water supply-, telecomunication- and airport towers, watchtowers along the Iron Curtain (a lot os stories to find and tell!) etc. The idea is to use the etwinning website as the communication platform and go on to apply for ErasmusPlus KA2 and share the project work results during mobilities.
