Our Guide to eSafety and Kindness 🌟
Our Guide to eSafety and Kindness 🌟
Hi, team! 👋 Welcome to our guide for staying safe and working well together on our project. Let’s make this space fun, creative, and respectful for everyone!
Respecting the eTwinning Code of Conduct 🤝
We are part of eTwinning, a special platform where students and teachers from different countries collaborate. To make our project amazing, we follow these important rules:
- Be respectful: Treat others the way you want to be treated.
- Work as a team: Share ideas, listen to others, and help each other succeed.
- Stay positive: Use kind and encouraging words with your teammates.
- Protect privacy: Never share personal information about yourself or others.
- Be fair: Don’t copy other people’s work. If you use someone’s idea, make sure to give them credit.
By following these rules, we’ll build trust and create something truly special together! 🌈
Getting Permission First 📝
- Before sharing photos, videos, or anything we make, we need to make sure our parents have said it’s okay.
- Our teachers have already checked with our parents, so we know what’s allowed to share.
Respecting Privacy 🕵️♀️
- Never share personal information like your home address, phone number, or full name.
- If you’re unsure about sharing something, always ask your teacher first!
Using Kind Words 💬
- Be polite and kind when talking to others online.
- Treat everyone with respect and kindness.
- If you see something unkind, tell your teacher right away so they can help.
Sharing Our Work 🎨
- We’ll add special licenses, like Creative Commons, to our work. These licenses show others how they can use what we create.
- We’ll also learn about copyright, public domain, and how to give credit when using other people’s ideas or images.
Finding Free Images 🖼️
- We’ll use safe places to find images, like:
- Always check if you’re allowed to use the image before adding it to your work!
Staying Safe in Live Sessions 🎥
- Teachers may take pictures or record videos during live sessions, but only if they have permission from our parents.
- Keep your camera on only when the teacher says it’s safe to do so.
Being a Digital Superhero 🦸♀️🦸♂️
- Follow these eSafety rules to keep yourself and your friends safe.
- If something doesn’t feel right or you see something strange online, tell an adult right away.
By following these tips and respecting each other, we’ll create a safe, kind, and inspiring space where everyone can share ideas and work together. Let’s make this project the best it can be! 🌟💡
