Finding a partner | Partners can be found through the ESEP network. Create an email or a group for easier communication. |
Meet the partners with activities. | Forward the activity plan to partners. |
Create a project logo | Choose a program in which students will create a logo. The logo can also be drawn. Each partner sends their logo proposal, and then we choose. |
Set up a bulletin board in the school where information related to the project will be posted. | Place posters of participating countries, later characters from fairy tales, etc. on the notice board. Anything that seems interesting. |
Presentation of partners | Create your own PPT presentation or presentation in another format. Present your country and its most important features. If it's easier for someone, it can also be a video presentation. All partners post presentations on Twinspace . The partner countries review the presentations and introduce their students to the partner countries. |
Each partner chooses two fairy tales to present to their partners. | A fairy tale can be folk or author's, and it would be the best if one was folk and the other author's. The selected fairy tales are read expressively by students of younger grades, recorded and uploaded to the online space provided for that (we will agree whether it is youtube or we will upload the recordings somewhere else). If only one class participates from one school, then the teacher himself chooses the students who read. The original text of the fairy tales is uploaded to the online document. |
Selected fairy tales of their country are translated into English by (older) students. | Fairy tales are translated into English as it is an intermediate language. This is how language competences are developed. We put the translated fairy tales on a common document and thus create the e-book step by step. |
Students translate their partner's fairy tales (from English) into their native language | The students translate the fairy tales that the partners put in the e-book into their native language and place the translation next to the English translation. That's how we create a multilingual edition of fairy tales. |
In art classes, students illustrate fairy tales and characters from fairy tales. | Since the fairy tales have been translated into both English and native languages, students will read the fairy tales and be given the task of illustrating them. Illustrations are posted online. |
Creating a dictionary of fantastic creatures that appear in fairy tales. | Students are given the task of extracting fantastic creatures (from the fairy tales of their people) and placing the destinations in a new e-book. Illustrations made by students earlier can also be used here. |
Quiz - fairy tales of countries... | Organize an online meeting where the students of all partners will solve a common quiz that will check the acquired knowledge. |
