The United Nations has declared the decade 2021-2030 as the 'International Decade of Ocean Sciences'. Oceans cover 70 per cent of our world. Most of the living species on earth live in the oceans and seas. On the other hand, mankind pollutes the environment and damages the seas and living species. We should instil environmental awareness in new generations and understand the importance of ocean life.
