Morgado de Mateus School Group (AEMM), located in the eastern part
of the city of Vila Real, appears in 2012, with the merger of the Agrupamento
Vertical of Monsenhor Jerónimo do Amaral Schools and the Secondary School/3
Morgado de Mateus.
Currently, this Group integrates 9 pieces of equipment, representing 32%
of the education and teaching equipment network of the Municipality of Vila Real,
being responsible for the schooling of 46% of the school population, since the
preschool through secondary education. It thus constitutes the only
city ​​group capable of offering all levels of education.
