INTERNATIONAL TEAM WORK : THE MASCOT OF THE PROJECT

Created by isabelle cassier
Last updated by isabelle cassier 2 months 3 weeks ago

We aim at enhancing a strong sense of shared identity, emotional connections, and creativity  with an international group. Hence, we  imagined the design of a collective symbol of our values and also a group memory of the adventure of this school year.

  • The  mascot called LIBARTY  has been  crafted by the students collaboratively.
  • It is a one-of-a-kind mascot  and an eco-friendly one . We upcycle materials to avoid waste and more specifically curb the topical issue : textile waste and ultra fast fashion.  Simply put, it corresponds to GOAL 12 : Responsible consumption and Production.

The students   worked in international teams on different parts of the mascot.

They even imagined an ID card ( with a middle name).

The students use digipads to gather their ideas and argue their points.

Greek Team - Online meeting with shadow artist – Show your true colour

As part of the eTwinning project “Show your true colour”, our students participated in a special online meeting with the artist Triantafyllos Vaitsis. Through his presentation, they were introduced to the art of shadow, where simple materials and objects are transformed, with the help of light, into meaningful and expressive images.

The connection with the project’s theme was particularly interesting: just as shadows reveal a “hidden” image behind objects, students were encouraged to bring out

We show our true colours and therby we will narrate the whole story of our collective mascot.  At first, we  wanted to craft it ...  each country will imagine a part of the body and we will send it by snail mail.... Unfortunately enough , the mascot  is lost .... somewhere.

France created the belly ( with the students with special needs) and then we sent it to our Swedish friends who crafted the head. The journey ended somewhere between Sweden and Poland.
