The “Our Green Footprint” project aims to raise environmental awareness among students by promoting recycling, reducing waste and encouraging sustainable daily habits. The project is inspired by global sustainability goals and aligns with the principles of the European Green Deal and Türkiye’s environmental awareness initiatives such as the Yeşil Vatan Projesi. Through international collaboration, students from partner countries work together to explore environmental problems, compare recycling practices and develop solutions for a greener future. The project integrates digital literacy and interdisciplinary learning by combining environmental education with technology, creativity and communication skills. During the project, students create eco-posters, make eco-promises, produce collaborative digital products and participate in online discussions and international meetings. By using digital tools and collaborative platforms, students strengthen their digital competencies while learning to work together across cultures. Ultimately, the project encourages students to become responsible digital citizens and environmentally conscious individuals who actively contribute to building a more sustainable world.
